Location. The Metropolitan Hotel is an independently owned and operated hotel located in Toronto, Canada's downtown business district. Mobile phone rental, word processing and other business services are also available. For dining, the Lai Wah Heen offers contemporary Cantonese cuisine and dim sum on custom-designed Rosenthal china. The restaurant is set on two levels and enclosed by a solarium-style glass wall, displaying an original collection of Chinese calligraphy by Southeast Asian artist Cheung Ming. Guestrooms. All 428 guestroom beds in the 26-floor, condo-style tower are dressed with Frette Italian linens, and down duvet and pillows. Terrycloth bathrobes continue the luxury story in the bathrooms.
